20th of October, 2011Thank you for your orders on the last 10 dolls available. The orders are now
closed and I'll re-open commissions after new year, but first I have
to make all preorders. It'll take some time for sure. I'm sorry that you'll have to
wait for the Special Order dolls and new basics a little longer.
Thank you again, I'm going back to work!
16th of October, 2011As promised, today I'm starting LDoll after event. You can see all
dolls from the Festival in "dolls" section, right under my regular

11th of October, 2011LDoll IMPRESSIONS AND INFO ABOUT PRICE INCREASE.
I'm back from LDoll festival, it was amazing and I'm so happy that I was able to be there! I've met many talented people and found lots of new friends. The festival was a huge success, and I hope to be there next year.
Thank you all for your support, I wasn't counting on such amazing feedback. I'm so happy that you like my works. Making dolls for people who really appreciate my work is an amazing experience and I promise that I'll work even harder to bring you even better dolls in the future. I would like to thank all of you who voted for my stand, It was such a surprise to won a first prize for Best Sales Table Award. As a reward I'll have a free stand next year. Now I don't have a choice but to participate!
Those who were on the show do know, that there will be a price increase on my dolls. I promised to write some info after the show, so here it is.
From the new year there will be a change in my ordering rules and prices. The standard dolls (normal skin Babette, Rin Sakurako, Palageya Anushka, Sweet Dream Babette and Akie Sakurako) will cost 880 $ and high heel shoes won't be a part of the set. Custom make – up will cost 50 $.
There will be also a Special Order available. In this one Pure Babette head mold will be available as long as all other head molds (Babette, Rin Sakurako, Palageya Anushka, Sweet Dream Babette and Akie Sakurako). You can order your doll in normal or white skin tone, and you can also request how pale you want me to make your doll. Each white skin doll's color will be made on a individual order. In Special Order you can also choose a doll with small or big bust. The big boobies part's cast has got only initial shape, and all the details are made by hand, so each Special Order doll with big bust part will be OOAK. You can also choose 2 of 3 feet available – the flat ones, high heels or hoof shoes. Cost of a Special Order doll will be 1100 $.
At the moment I have a lot of orders to make, so I'm opening last 10 slots for dolls at old price. They'll be open until 1st of January, 2012. After that time ordering will be closed. I'll open ordering at new prices after finishing all dolls I'm working on, now. Dolls from this order will be made around February-March.
To reserve a slot please send me an e-mail, telling what doll would you like to order. Those dolls aren't available in layaway (layaway is only available for people from LDoll that asked me about it and it'll be 3 months max).

5th of October, 2011Finally! I'm happy to show you LDoll OOAK dolls. All of them will be
for sale in after event if not sold at the festival. I'll add more
photos when I'll be back. Hope to see you in Lyon!
Head mold: Sweet Dream Babette
Skin color: White
Body: MPD01, cast hoof shoes
I wanted to make a doll like this as long as I can remember. Usually I'm avoiding making dolls that are so personal, because it's hard to part with them. I prefer to make them blank and give the opportunity of creating doll's personality to the owner. But sometimes you just have to make a doll that's 100% you, and this was the main idea for this SD Babette.
I chose this head mold, because lots of people are telling me that when I smile I look just like her. It's something in her eyes they say. I never considered my dolls similar to me, for sure never sculpted them to look like me but if so many people see similarities, there must be something about it. So it was simple, I knew from the beginning which doll to make my special.
I was looking for a fabric for her dress for a long time, but couldn't find anything that was perfect. I needed something delicate and ethereal, plus, I was sure that this doll will be wearing something white. Only after visiting every fabric shop in my city and every web shop I know, I realized, that the perfect fabric was all this time in my very own closet. It was my wedding dress, hanging there looking sad and forgotten. It was a perfect opportunity to give this dress second life, make it important again. It was a hard decision to cut it, but it was worth it. Looking at Babette in this dress, with shoes the same color as my wedding shoes I felt so happy. I thought that after going so far in making this doll personal I should take one more, final step. As hair are one of the most important aspect of every doll I make, I had to make it unforgettable. I love to touch dolls hair and I'm always very strict about quality. I spend long time wondering, how the hair of this doll should look. I couldn't make it less important then her dress. The decision again was simple – just to cut my own hair and make a wig with it. I feel, that this doll is as me as a doll can be. She's all I've always dreamed about while collecting and creating dolls – my own, individual, perfect doll. Just the way I wanted.
Dress made in french lace, cut from artist's wedding dress. Handmade embroidery, with batiste underskirt. Hair piece made of felt, handmade embroidery in colorful stripes with puff's on the side.
Hand painted face, manicure and shoes. Glass eyes, handmade wig, made of artist's own hair.
One of a kind doll.
Head mold: Rin Sakurako
Skin color: Normal
Body: MPD01, bare feet
Rin Sakurako was always a three colored doll for me. Although she looks amazing in every hair color and stylization, she was made as brunette. I had a clear vision of this doll from the beginning. She was always most elegant, distinctive and calm of my all dolls. I love her in Japanese kimono and other Asian looks, but always wanted to make Rin that will feature three most fashionable colors – black, white and red. She's fashion herself, in a dress that can spoke volumes of who she is and what she thinks of other people.
Making her clothes started with her toque. I've then made the rest of her outfit to match it. The main idea was to make a stripped dress, something in between of XIX century European gown and Sweeney Todd. I wanted to make it fancy, rich and looking high fashion. But she's bare feet under all her fancy and expensive clothes. I decided on that as a reminder that clothes aren't the most important aspect of who we are.
Dress made in french lace, cotton and chiffon, handmade embroidery. Toque made of felt, handmade embroidery with paper rose decoration. Handmade mohair wig, glass eyes, bare feet.
One of a kind doll.
Head mold: Pure Babette
Skin color: Normal
Body: MPD01, cast hoof shoes
Pure Babette is almost this same head mold as my Babette with a scar. She has some little differences on the nose and cheeks and that's why she's a separate head mold for me. This is first time I'm making Pure Babette, so I wanted to make her fresh and delicate. That's why I decided to make her a spring spirit, dressed in lace and flowers. Her face is painted to look like she's been running in the early morning and the wind caught her cheek. I didn't want her to look like a country girl, more like a distinguished fairy queen, that's why she's wearing high heel shoes instead of going bare feet.
Dress made of french lace, handmade embroidery on the front and sides. Felt hair piece, handmade embroidery with beads and paper flowers. Glass eyes, hand made mohair wig, painted hoof shoes.
One of a kind.
"It is love"
Head mold: Palageya Anushka
Skin color: Normal
Body: MPD01 with big boobies, cast high heel shoe
It's my first doll made with big boobies part. I always preferred dolls with small bust, but sometimes you need to make something new. I decided to make this particular Anushka a sexy, curved doll. She is my most childish head mold and I find it interesting to put her on a grown up woman body. It gives whole new quality to her story.
Nude doll, glass eyes, hand made mohair wig and painted high heel shoes.
One of a kind.
Head mold: Akie Sakurako
Skin color: Normal
Body: MPD01, bare feet
As some of you may know I'm in love with Japan, especially Tokyo. I feel it's my place in this world and my wish is to live there all my life. Akie Sakurako, being Japanese is a perfect head mold to express my love for Japan. Making her a kimono doll was an obvious decision.
For several years I've been learning tea ceremony and wearing a kimono is a part of this art. Wearing it it's hard and I know only few western women that can make it look natural on them. Putting a kimono on doll is even harder, if you want it to look as it should. I love it on traditional Japanese dolls, but mine aren't made in Japan. So Akie is wearing her kimono in kind of sexy, western stylized way. I didn't want her to be a make-believe Japanese doll. I wanted her to be a doll made in Poland as a tribute to the country I love.
Silk kimono, kanzashi hair ornament, hand made mohair wig, glass eyes, bare feet.
One of a kind.
29th of September, 2011Some snap shots of clothes I'm making for LDoll convention in Lyon. I'm forking on hose for over 3 month's now and I really want to finish it already...
21st of September, 2011I love to watch other people's workplaces. There is something magical and mystical in a place where you create new ideas and make them true. I consider it a honor when someone invites me to his working space. It's amazing how much you can learn about the person, their routines, and creation process just by looking at the workshop. I love to touch, to feel and just breath the atmosphere of hard work. This is why I love to visit my academy of art, even after graduation. It's buzzing with joy, ideas and it's pumping me with energy every time I'm there.
I usually have a mess in my workshop. That's because after cleaning up I can't find anything for weeks. This is how it looks at the end of the week, before I'll drag myself to clean a little. On a normal day I'm just too tired to be bothered by this mess. Besides, in a gross way, it's kind of cozy there. I like all the broken stuff, old projects and wasted casts. They remind me of my failures and mistakes, but also of a long way I went through. They help to work even harder on future dolls.
I never trusted workshops that are tidy. I have no idea how someone can create while thinking of rubbing the dust off at the same time. Maybe they do have cleaning service? But then, I would never allow any stranger go to my WS and touch my things in there. This is just too private.
This is not all my working space, there is much more in another room, but this is my daily place of working on your dolls. As you can see I have 2 chairs and 2 stools (though only one is on the photo). People usually ask my why I need all of those. It's simple - each one is different in high. For certain work's I need my chair to be a little higher or lower, and changing it all the time is just frustrating. Plus, they are useful when I got visitors.
My workplace is a perfect size at the moment, as I can grab anything I need without getting up.
There is a pressure pot at the table which I'm using for small cast. The rest is in my other room. On the wall (No. 1) you can see rest of the resin that exploded in my workshop a couple days ago. It covered everything including myself and I've learned my lesson about pressure. Number 2 is a photo by my favorite make-up artist Shaiel (I have several more hanging here and there). Love to look at it when I'm tired. No. 3 is a "wall of shame" which includes all my broken cast. It's a valuable reminder. I have more of those in the boxes on your left. No. 4 is where I keep my casts and No. 5 is where I put all dolls in progress. It's covered with towel to avoid sunlight. Finally, No. 6 is where my dog, Neska, usually lays during daytime. Sometimes she tries to climb on my lap - even after so many years she can't understand how hard is to work while holding her. But we are trying to sort it out! :)
11th of September, 2011
Two long-waited dolls are finally up for sale. Sweet Dream Babette and
Akie Sakurako are available for preorder. Both will be cast in normal skin tone. I hope you'll like those two
If you are wondering about big bust part and new high-heel shoes,
they'll be available as a special order in the future.
Also I would like to remain all attenders of LDoll Festival that
I'll be there with lot's of new dolls to show. Be sure to
come by my stand and say hello :)
8th of September, 2011It's raining again in Warsaw and I have hard time working. I just
hate days like this, when I can do nothing (except new design,
shoe making and dress/accessories sewing, but that's not most
important at the moment!)! I hope that the
weather will be better soon, as I have new dolls and resin colors to
test! Looking at the forecasts I have 2 days of vacations and then
back to work!
Currently I'm working on LDoll (Lyon doll convention) BJD's. I have
many plans on dolls I want to show, but we'll see what I'll be able
to make. Also, I have a new resin from some time, so all dolls that
you haven't received yet will be made out of it. It's a little pale
compared to my old resin, but it's so smooth, delicate and
beautiful, that the change was a good idea for sure. I'm a little
crazy about quality of my dolls, so I'm really happy with my work
right now. I'm working on some fantasy color dolls... gray, maybe
violet and white for sure. The new resin weights less than my old
one, that was a surprise. I thing it's good change, as my dolls were
really heavy and taking them outside was hard for me.
Also I have finished new shoe-leg part for my dolls. At first I
wanted it (along with a big bust part) to be Akie Sakurako
exclusive, but I haven't decided on it yet. The shoes look a little
like new Prada and I love them so much! Would like to have them in
5th of September, 2011I have new feet-shoe design coming soon. I love those shoes, the
shape is so amazing, a little like new Prada. I want those in human size in every color! I
haven't decided yet about availability of those. I wanted them to be
Akie Sakurako exclusive, but maybe I'll offer them as an extra for
other dolls too. I don't have mold for them yet, as for now only
In following days I'll post more photos. I hope you'll like it!
2nd of September, 2011I'll be adding a white skin option for my dolls soon. Can't wait, as I love white dolls so much !
Here's a comparison of my normal resin color, volks normal and my new white.
30th of August, 2011In "dolls" section you can see my new doll- Sweet Dream Babette
photos. She'll be available soon for preorder. More photos of SD
Baette will be added in following days as long as some of Akie
I hope you'll love my new girl! If you have questions, please let me

15th of August, 2011New Babette Sweet Dream, available soon.
7th of August, 2011Akie Sakurako first make-up by Shaiel. Photo also taken by her.
3rd of August, 2011Marti Presents "Make your Own MP Doll" line is being suspended
After only a short period of availability, I've decided to suspend my
"Make your own" line of dolls. I prefer to have more control over my
dolls quality, and it's impossible without finishing them myself. For
those who wanted to own a "MyO" doll, I'm giving last opportunity. For
one last week (until 10.08.2011) I'll be taking orders for kit dolls-
Babette, Rin Sakurako and Palageya Anushka. After that the line will
be closed and I have no plans to restore it in it's current form.
Thank you for your kind support and love for my dolls. I hope that I
can bring you even more joy in the future. The standard line dolls are
available in stock.
1st of August, 2011Akies big boobies. It's a new body part for my dolls , details soon.
28th of July, 2011First cast of Akie Sakurako and Sweet Dream Babette. The weather in Poland is just awfoul, it's raining non stop for over a month and it's killing my and my dolls. It's really hard to work with resin in a weather like this. But I had some time to work on my new dolls thanks to that. Akie and Rin are even more that I was hoping. I just LOVE them both and can't wait finish them with make-up and clothes.
Hope you'll like them! More info and ordering details soon!
Hope you'll like them!

22nd of June, 2011Hi friends!

I hope to finish her within one month and she'll be limited to 50 pieces, normal skin tone.
You can reserve a spot on her right now.

I've been asked to make them for a long time now. I have one of those

decided to make them for sale.
I'm using it for several months now and it's no problem in daily use.

painted as you like, left or right hand or feet. Normal skin color.

10th of April, 2011Make Your Own Marti Presents Doll kits available for order!
Being able to give my customers a tool for creating their dreamed doll was always my main purpose. The kit includes all doll's parts and extra high heel part. You’ll receive your doll right after cast. I think that sanding her and putting together is an amazing experience. I've always wanted to give my customers opportunity to create they own dreamed doll with my help. By offering doll kits to make a doll becomes more creative than ever before. In the kit you'll get also strings for your doll, "s" hooks and magnets needed to close the head cap.
Please remember, that my dolls are made in silicon forms and it's a fragile material. That's why a casts often comes with some extra material, little scratches and so on. Sometimes there are parts that need to be cut off or drill. All of this takes some time and experience, but isn't too hard to do. It's also a lots of fun.
To finish your doll you'll need:
- sandpaper (220, 400, 1000, 2000, wet use)
- paper knife
- different files (round and flat one)
- soft wire for doll stringing
You may also use:
- rotary tool, like Dremel, etc.
Soon I'll make a tutorial about finishing your Marti Presents Doll.
Please don't be scared to finish your doll. Even if you'll break something by accident (though it's really hard to) there are replacement parts available for order(*). Your have to remember, though, that color may be a little different and price depends of the part.
The price of the kit (including doll, extra heels, elastic, "s" hock, wooden box) is 500$ + shipping cost. Shipping in Europe would be 60$ and Worldwide – 85$.
You can order:
- Babette kit (100 piece limited)
- Rin Sakurako kit (100 piece limited)
- Palageya Anushka kit (100 piece limited)
Photos will be available this week, but the kit can be ordered from now on!
(*) To order replacement part, you'll need to send a broken one back. Color may be a little different. The price depends of the part you wish to order.
5th of April, 2011Marti Presents Dolls for Japan action finally came to an end. I have donated all earning from eBay auction to Japan Embassy in Warsaw, Poland. As it appeared auction winner live in Poland, so it seemed to me that it would be better for everyone to donate money locally.
I received confirmation from Japan Embassy which you can see by clicking this link.
It's written in Polish saying about confirmation of receiving 1948 PLN (equivalent of 650$ in Polish Zloty), about gratitude, act of friendship and assurance that money will be sent directly to Japanese Red Cross.
Let me express my gratitude, too, to everyone who participated in auction, and of course, to the winner.
28th of March, 2011I recently added new picture set of Palageya Anushka which you can find in her DOLLS gallery.
27th of March, 2011Soon I'm planning to put a new product on a market. It'll be a "Make
Your Own MP Doll" kit.
I love to give a finishing touch to my dolls, because it makes them
alive. Before it's only a piece of resin and through correcting and
fitting all the elements it becomes unique. But sometimes one little mistake
can create entirely new doll's character. That's what happened with Babette's scar.
I think that ability to change and adjust doll's details is very
important for a BJD. I'd like, for example, the seamy lines because they
are a proof of the material the doll is made of. Until the doll is assembled, from
several pieces into one being, she's impersonal and empty. Through finishing her parts with
love and care and putting it together we make her a personal object, a girl. I
think the personalization is most important in BJD hobby. This process
is amazing and I would like to give you an opportunity to feel it. To
feel dolls birth under your own fingers. I think that only by putting the
doll together you can make her truly yours.
That's why soon I'll be offering a doll kits. Your MPDoll will come
to you in parts, right after casting, without a finishing touch and it'll give you opportunity to give her an
unique character. The kit will include everything needed to finish and
put together your new doll. "MYO MPDoll" will be cheaper than standard Marti Presents Dolls.
Please check back for more information soon.

17th of March, 2011Marti Presents Dolls for Japan
I was really terrified hearing of earthquake and Tsunami in Japan. For past few days I'm glued to TV info channel and I can't believe the horror that is happening in front of my eyes.
I'm really sad, because I have many friends in Japan and for many days I was so worried about them and even though they're safe now, I don't know what will the future bring. I'm doing my best to help, and you can help too.
I'm putting Marti Presents Doll on eBay auction and all money earned from selling this doll will be donated to Japanese Red Cross to help people who suffered during earthquake and tsunami. This doll was designed and made by me and is a part of my private doll collection. Now you have a chance to own a doll that wasn't made for sale and is one of a kind.
It'll be a special doll out of the 100 limited edition dedicated to all who died, lost their families and friends during the Tsunami. She'll be number "000" Palageya Anushka with make-up by my dear friend Shaiel. Doll is nude with make-up as below. Doll will be shipped by EMS.
eBay Listing number is 270721672612
I hope that together we can help at least a little.
Thank you for your support.
14th of March, 2011I had an amazing weekend with my dollfie friends and that triggered my imagination. During my way back home I've started to think about new doll. I wanted her to be Rin's big sister. First thing that come to my mind was her name – Akie Sakurako. I've started sculpting her, late Sunday, like crazy. I'm not sure how well will she match Rin, but I can already tell that this girl will be amazing to work with. She'll have brand new body, including big breast part, tabi feet and geta sandals, and her own hands design. I really can't wait to finish her, though I know it'll take some time for sure. Hope you'll like her first photo.
1st of March, 2011Palageya Anushka is finished earlier than I thought. You can see her
photos in "dolls" section. She is cast in normal resin color and
include's high heel feet. Available for preorder now!
Hope you'll like her :)
24th of February, 2011New photos of Palageya's face!
23rd of February, 2011I have lot's of work with ordered dolls, but in my free time I'm
working on a new girl. Her name will be Palageya Anushka and she'll be
my first head mold with cast teeth. I really can't wait to finish her,
hope she'll be in her full stylization within two weeks.
Hope you'll like her! Here's a little teaser!

Please accept my apologies for any inconveniences.
1st of February, 2011I have a lot of new pictures of my girls. Please, see them in “dolls” section. Part of them is made by my dear friend Shaiel, who also is my dolls make-up artist.
There is also a new section with photos of body parts. Hope you'll find it interesting!
23rd of January, 2011Being a doll artist is a wonderful experience. Although smelly and dirty, it feels so great. I wanted this from the first time I've seen a BJD over 8 years ago. Never thought that holding a doll made by myself would be so amazing. I'm really happy that I was brave enough to give it a try. It was a lot of work, a lot of time wasted on experiments, many late nights with hands full of clay and silicon and tons of designs. And I wouldn't change a minute of it.
It wasn't easy, but it was worth it.
So after this busy year I'm proud to present my creation to the wide audience and I hope you will have as much fun from playing with Babette and Rin as I had while working on them.
